Two Dallas airports are within a short distance of the city. The main airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, is about 18 miles from downtown Dallas. Airline discounts
The following airlines are offering discounted fares to 2008 Annual Conference attendees:
- American Airlines offers a 5% discount off applicable fares online at www.aa.com or by calling American Airlines Meeting Service Desk at 1-800-433-1790. Refer to Authorization Number A94H8AD. Online enter the Authorization Number as the Promotion Code.
- Continental Airlines offers discounts off eligible published fares online at www.continental.com or by calling Continental Airlines MeetingWorks at 1-800-468-7022. Refer to Z Code ZCYG and Agreement Code DCEBDL. Online enter both the Z Code and Agreement Code (without a space) as the Offer Code. Note: Online bookings receive an additional 3% discount off published fares; reservations made by telephone will be assessed a $10 nonrefundable service fee.
- Delta Air Lines discounts on coach (5%) and first class (10%) fares when booking online. Online booking incentives includes online check-in within 24 hours prior to departure, no service fees and 'Best Fare Guarantee'. To make a reservation, go to Delta.com For Business Travel. NOTE: If you go directly to the delta.com website you will not be eligible for a discount.
You may also receive discounts by calling 800-455-2720. The reference number is DP2S and associates are available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST.
- Northwest Airlines offers discounts off applicable fares online at www.nwa.com. At the bottom of the ‘Flights’ tab, click the ‘NWA Discount Travel E-Cert Redemption’ link. Complete the ‘Flight Options’ section of the Flight Search screen. In the ‘Additional Search Options’ section, navigate to the section labeled ‘E-Cert: Do you have a Discount Travel E-Cert, Electronic Credit Voucher (ECV), NWA Extras Voucher?’ Select: Yes. From the drop-down select ‘Meeting Agreement (WorldFile Number).’ Enter the Meeting Agreement code (World File Number) NYVNV in the box provided.
Ground Transportation
- Taxis: The approximate taxi fares to/from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and downtown Dallas is $40; to/from Dallas Love Field Airport is $18.
- Airport shuttle: Yellow Checker Shuttle offers $7 off its regular airport shuttle rate for one-way and $14 off round-trip transportation to/from Dallas/Fort Worth International or Dallas Love Field and your hotel. The discounted price to/from Dallas/Fort Worth International or Dallas Love Field is $12 one way/$24 round trip. To make online reservations, go to www.yellowcheckershuttle.com/naeyc. The Yellow Checker Shuttle will be available Saturday, November 8 for pick up from the Dallas Convention Center.
