The exhibition will include a selection of artifacts that are new to the exhibit and have never before been seen outside of Egypt!

Discover Dallas City Tour
Take a dazzling driving tour of Dallas. See the many landmarks, sculptures, monuments, and buildings that give this city its distinct personality. Sights include the Morton Myerson Symphony Hall, City Hall, the Kennedy Memorial, and Dealey Plaza. Take in the breathtaking sculptures of the cattle drive at Pioneer Plaza. See the World Trade Center, Dallas Market Center, and the Infomart. Visit Old City Park, which houses a collection of reconstructed buildings from the 1800s, and Fair Park, the home of the State Fair of Texas with its 1930s architecture. This tour also includes walking through Fountain Place.

Fort Worth: Where the West Begins
The people of Fort Worth say that Dallas is where the East ends and Forth Worth is where the West begins. Cowtown USA . . . is what the natives call it, and you will find that the Old West does still exist. Visit Sundance Square, the restored old city center with shops and galleries full of western art and gifts, with a short stop at the Sid Richardson Collection of Western Art. Then on to the famous Stockyards, where the “Fort Worth Herd” of longhorn cattle will march down Main Street in a real Old West cattle drive. Up the street is the Stockyard Station Market that houses more than 20 new shops from the King Ranch Saddle shop to the Olde West Country Store. The city’s cowboys, dressed in 19th-century garb with period saddles and equipment, will explain Fort Worth’s history and answer questions.

Dinner and An Evening of “The Blues”
Enjoy Southern-inspired cuisine and live music at the House of Blues Dallas! The House of Blues inhabits the old White Swan building. With its wood floors and tall ceilings, the building is a concert and dining venue whose thick walls and handpainted wooden support beams serve as an apt exhibition space for the restaurant’s exemplary American folk art collection. After savoring a delicious dinner, proceed to the main show room and enjoy the live music.

Grapevine Tour
Tour the Delaney Vineyards and learn about the special grapes grown in this unique North Texas climate. The 8,000 square- foot winery is reminiscent of an 18th-century French chateau nestled among 10 acres of lush Cynthiana grapevines. The tour guide will explain the grape-growing, harvesting, wine-making, and bottling processes. Then sample seven different Delaney wines. The tour continues at the Vetro Glassblowing Studio and Gallery, a state-of-the-art facility where nationally recognized glass artists specialize in handblown and lampwork art glass. See glassblowing artists create magnificent works of art right before your eyes!

Evening at the Famous Monica Aca y Alla
Enjoy a delicious dinner and so much more at Monica Aca y Alla! Monica’s is one of the most original Mexican restaurants in Texas and a favorite of the Dallas locals. Located in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, Monica’s features wonderful “Mexico City” and Tex-Mex specialties. The fabulous “Chilo” & his High Energy Band will provide entertainment during and after dinner. “Chilo” always has the crowd on their feet, so be ready to join the “Conga line” that stretches the entire length of the restaurant.
